We face no shortcomings in the first European Games. Everything is perfect. All sports arenas meet international standards. Athletes conveniently train and compete in these arenas. Athletes Village have been provided with all the conditions for athletes, all the details were taken into account here, said Captain Petar Velkic of Serbia who won the Men`s Water Polo gold medal final as he was interviewed by journalists.
Along with the convenience of athletes, their security also was fully ensured. The high-level conditions are the result of comprehensive preparations, Petar Velkic added.
The Serbian athlete expressed his satisfaction with hospitality of the Azerbaijani people, as well as the work of volunteers.
He said they were proud to win the gold medal in a sporting event like the European Games.
